:::Makan Makan:::

BEWARE!! There will be lots of makan makan pictures in different places as I am too lazy to blog one by one, and hence the pictures are stacking up like mountain. Thus, because of my laziness, I will only post a few pictures from each locations. Bleh

Okay, back to the main topic. First station, Restoran Talipon. Had a mixed of BBQ and steamboat buffet dinner with the usuals, James, Nic, and aYee. Let the picture do the talking.

An introduction picture of our table :D

Lamb, pork, chicken, squid, ham, hotdogs, mushrooms, and the list goes on and on and on...

Second station: Seoul Garden in Mahkota Parade, Malacca. Another mixture of BBQ and steamboat buffet at a student price, RM 17 per person. The restaurant is named after a place in Korea, so i thought it will be something like Korean BBQ, but what I saw was all different types of marinated chicken, beef and lamb. Well, I thought I was having a chicken fiesta there.

Seoul Garden

Our grilled pot (I don't know what should I called this)

First round

While waiting for the meat to cooked

Drinking orange juice

Waiting impatiently for the meal to cook

Our meal includes a free flow of drinks

And also unlimited desserts

Overall, I am not quite happy with this restaurant, as the services are bad. When the drinks are finished at the counter, not one of the staffs care to refill it, and caused me to drink other juices other than orange juice. While I am eating, all I see is the staffs nicely enjoying their food behind my table, and laughing like nobody business. Can't even care for the feelings of the customers. And whenever we put some meat to the pot to be grilled, the drops of oil splash out and hurt my hand. This can't be happening! It is not user-friendly at all. Compared to this, BBQ Plaza is 100th times better! At least, I won't get burned by grilling the meat. No second time for this restaurant.

Next station, MMU's Creative Art Club Annual Dinner at Emperor Hotel, Malacca. The truth is I don't know anyone from this club and I attend this dinner because of my BF, and another reason is I thought I can dressed up nicely to attend some high-class dinner function. But, who knows the dinner ended up at a 3-star hotel's cafe (not even in the conference hall). Dissapointed, but what to do, I am already there. Initially I thought of wearing a dress, but I ended up wearing a blouse and long pants as I am being told no one will wear formally for the dinner.

Relaxing in the hotel's lobby couch

Next station: Penang Village in Berjaya Times Square. Had gone to a one-day shopping trip with my mom and sis, Kylie. Thus we ended up eating in Penang Village as Christine (currently working in Penang Village as an assistant accountant) asked us to go and have a try. Well...

Early in the morning before head to the bus station

(can't get the connection between Aladdin's magic lamp and Penang =.=)

Can't wait to taste the food

looks artistic

Soya Cincau, comes with the set meal

Penang Fried Kueh Tiao

The set meal cost RM 9.90 and after tax, it cost more than 10 bucks. You can judge yourselves whether it is expensive. Taste-wise, ok-ok lah. The kueh tiao comes in a bundle-like.

Next next station: Miu Kai, Sri Petaling. Had dinner with James and aYee and I just took the picture of my own dish.
Lightings

My ginger fish fillet rice.Taste very nice :D

The reflection of lightings on the table..artistic..

Next next next station: Yeh Lai Shiang, Mentakab. It's a mother's day celebration dinner, and supposingly we planned to eat in Tong Kiew, but as usual, it is closed so we ended up eating here.

Sweet and sour fish (i don't know what is this fish called in English)
We called it Hong Shao She Pan

All the dishes of that day
Clockwise: Hong Shao She Pan, Suan Mei Pai Gu, Diao Pian inYam, Jiang Chong Tian Ji, Salted Fish with Cai Dan, Jiang Pao Sheng Chang

We keep on wondering what is this, and at first we thought it is the tortoise shell.
Well, at the end, we conclude it should be the Water-fish shell :D

Overall, the dishes taste nice, and there goes the Mother's Day Celebration with our lovely mother.

Due to some other technical problem, this post had been kept for at least a week in the draft box and now, at last I managed to post it up. But I kinda forgotten whether there is still any pictures which I haven't posted. Anyway, will put up the updates if I found any. Hate the life without internet connection *grrr*
