Snippets of the Month of March

It's been a month since the last time I blogged. Yes, I am quite busy with my studies. Masters is not easy-lah ok. Damn lot of work to do and damn stress, but I will leave the story for next post. I just finished my last presentation yesterday, so now I am in-officially free, hmm.. because I stil have exam next month.

Okay, I will just post up some pictures about what I had been doing for the past one month :)

Me, Boon and FaiFai gathered in BTS for BBQ Plaza session (as usual, our favourite). After the lunch, FaiFai needs to rush back because he is going to attend a wedding dinner, so only left me and Boon and it's still a long time to go to catch our bus back to our hometown. We were too exhausted to walk around, hence we stop by at Sweet Chat because I wanna try out their Durian PanCake.

1*Durian PanCake@Sweet Chat, Berjaya Times Square
RM 6.90

It taste delicious! We can even taste the Durian in the pancake! But I guess at the price for just 3 piece is quite expensive. Then we tried out their ABC.

2*Jackfruit and Sago ABC
RM 5.90

This is also nice, with the thin slices of jackfruit and the crunchy sago. Will definitely try it again next time!

March is a very sad month for me, because Grandpa was admitted to the hospital due to high fever. He stayed in Hospital Tanjung Karang for a whole week. I visited him twice, and felt sad looking at his sunken cheekbone and body. While we were waiting for mom, I captured some so-call scenery pictures.

Dear came down from Malacca to help me carry the printer I bought from Low Yat. I had too many things to print and I just can't afford to climb all the way up the hills here just to print my assignment, presentation slides, bla bla bla, hence I decided to buy a printer. We stopped at Nando's at Jaya One for dinner before heading home.

Then, around end of March I head over to Malacca to accompany Dear cause I know he can't live without me. Haha! I even skipped my class because of that. Oh, hope my lecturer won't read this :P One funny thing happened a day before I go to Malacca. The night before that, I set the alarm to wake me up at 8am. During the process, I saw a very unusual symbol right beside the clock, it's actually the Daylight Saving mode. I thought it's nothing, hence I did not check further. The next morning, the alarm rang at 8am and I lazy around the bed for like 15 min only got up and prepare to go and take the bus. When I am brushing my teeth, the sky is not quite bright yet, oh so I thought that maybe it rain yesterday. While I am on my way to bus stop, I take a look at my watch and realized it's not even 8am yet!! I was so confused, and I really don't know which is the right time (my phone and my watch), hence I called Dear and asked him what is the time, and he answered me 740am. Oh syit!!!! At first I still don't believe him, but I realized there's something wrong with the clock of my phone. So, I was an hour early. Damn. No wonder I can't wake up at all. It's all because the stupid daylight saving mode. So I actually woke Dear up at 7 something in the morning, and he keep blamed me after that.

Once I reached, he took me to the newly open Jusco right beside the Tesco which is right beside the bus station.

We headed over to Little Taiwan because Dear wants to have his lunch (I ate McD Breakfast at the bus station while waiting for him because he was late, thinking that I took the 10am bus instead of the 930am bus =.=)

11*Dear's minced chicken rice
RM 4.90

12*My all-time favourite Fried Dumpling
RM 6.90

13*Pearl Milk Tea

The rice was ok, according to Dear. Little Taiwan has a lot of varieties of food from rice to noodle and even desserts, like what I had ordered. As you can see from the picture, the cup of Pearl Milk Tea is so big and I guess it's suitable for 2 person, if you are not a heavy 'drinker' like me.

Then we started my shopping mission. After a few hours of trying clothes, reading books, trying shoes, we were exhausted and headed over to Old Town for their tea time because I want to try out their tea time set. This is what we ordered:

14*My French Fries and Chicken Popcorn together with Teh Tarik
RM 5.90

15*Dear's Curry Puff with Teh Tarik
RM 3.90

16*Ooh..SATISFACTION!!!!

The Teh Tarik was a little bit too sweet for me, but I like their popcorn chicken. It really tastes better than KFC's. Dear said the curry puff is nice too and I think the set is worth the price, but I am still hoping that they could give me an option to change the drink. I am not a fan of Teh Tarik, regardless it is sweet or not.

We went back and were too full to have dinner. Hence, we ate the doughnuts and the bakeries we bought from The Baker's Cottage.

Well, nothing much to do in Malacca, lazying around at home, fight with Dear, eat and sleep. I skipped the Wednesday class, so I came back to KL on Thursday morning.

One of the breakfast I ate. Dear 'tapao-ed' it for me and added extra fried wantan!!

This is one of the sweetest thing Dear did. He sneaked this Twiggies pack into my bag without I realizing it because he afraid that I will get hungry in the bus. I only know about this when the bus is already on the way to KL

One of the weeks I went back to Grandpa house and it was raining heavily! The rain just pour ed without any sign. Since I was too free I thought that I might test the camera of my phone by taking a picture of the heavy rain. Proven failed :P

Well, there goes the snippets of my life in March. See you in April! (I know it is already April now :P)
